A pine motif for Major Snow. The collection pairs a long pierced metal bookmark with a painted enamel round-fan bookmark, explored as a browser-based design study.
Traditional seasonal signs
- The night bird falls silent 鹖鴠不鸣
- Tigers begin to court 虎始交
- Orchids put out shoots 荔挺出
These are traditional poetic observations used in the design, rather than a modern scientific account. The seasonal date is approximately 7 Dec and varies by year.
