A bamboo motif for Major Cold. The collection pairs a long pierced metal bookmark with a painted enamel round-fan bookmark, explored as a browser-based design study.
Traditional seasonal signs
- Hens begin to brood 鸡始乳
- Birds of prey hunt hard 征鸟厉疾
- Lakes freeze to the bottom 水泽腹坚
These are traditional poetic observations used in the design, rather than a modern scientific account. The seasonal date is approximately 20 Jan and varies by year.
