A moon motif for Autumn Equinox. The collection pairs a long pierced metal bookmark with a painted enamel round-fan bookmark, explored as a browser-based design study.
Traditional seasonal signs
- Thunder falls silent 雷始收声
- Insects seal their burrows 蛰虫坯户
- Waters begin to dry 水始涸
These are traditional poetic observations used in the design, rather than a modern scientific account. The seasonal date is approximately 23 Sep and varies by year.
