A maple motif for Frost's Descent. The collection pairs a long pierced metal bookmark with a painted enamel round-fan bookmark, explored as a browser-based design study.
Traditional seasonal signs
- Jackals lay out their prey 豺乃祭兽
- Leaves yellow and fall 草木黄落
- Insects bow down for winter 蛰虫咸俯
These are traditional poetic observations used in the design, rather than a modern scientific account. The seasonal date is approximately 23 Oct and varies by year.
