A swallow motif for Spring Equinox. The collection pairs a long pierced metal bookmark with a painted enamel round-fan bookmark, explored as a browser-based design study.
Traditional seasonal signs
- Swallows return 玄鸟至
- Thunder sounds 雷乃发声
- Lightning first flashes 始电
These are traditional poetic observations used in the design, rather than a modern scientific account. The seasonal date is approximately 21 Mar and varies by year.
