A willow motif for Clear and Bright. The collection pairs a long pierced metal bookmark with a painted enamel round-fan bookmark, explored as a browser-based design study.
Traditional seasonal signs
- Paulownia blooms 桐始华
- Moles turn into quails 田鼠化为鴽
- Rainbows first appear 虹始见
These are traditional poetic observations used in the design, rather than a modern scientific account. The seasonal date is approximately 5 Apr and varies by year.
