A drop motif for Rain Water. The collection pairs a long pierced metal bookmark with a painted enamel round-fan bookmark, explored as a browser-based design study.
Traditional seasonal signs
- Otters lay out their fish 獭祭鱼
- Wild geese fly north 鸿雁来
- Plants begin to sprout 草木萌动
These are traditional poetic observations used in the design, rather than a modern scientific account. The seasonal date is approximately 19 Feb and varies by year.
